Harley Quinn as Wonder Woman’s Body Guard?
Harley Quinn is Wonder Woman’s biggest fan and when Wonder Woman is in trouble, Harley steps in with an unusual course of action.
Harley Quinn has a secret. She is Wonder Woman’s biggest fan. When Harley finds out that a London supervillain is making plans to remove Wonder Woman, Harley steps in to help.
Except Harley doesn’t just phone the Justice League hotline (is that a thing) to report the possible crime. Harley jumps in head first to protect her hero.
Harley takes her Gang of Harleys on a mission to track down illegal dumping of dangerous chemicals. They bust the criminals and discover the same group is set to deliver some noxious gas to a London super villain named Barmy Bugger to use on Wonder Woman.
Deciding that she needs to do something, Harley develops a plan.
First of all, she needs to London and find the super villain. Using the criminals paid to deliver the chemicals, Harley gets herself send along with the shipment. It means 12 days at sea hiding in a container to smuggle herself to London.
Once she has infiltrates the Barmy Bugger’s hideout, Harley steals the knock gas and goes undercover. Arriving at Wonder Woman’s apartment, Harley uses the knock out gas on the Amazon princess.
The gas puts Wonder Woman to sleep and Harley gets her to safety. The Barmy Bugger task force is on the way and Harley needs to get ready if she is going to protect Wonder Woman.
The task force is expecting to take Wonder Woman by surprise, so Harley borrows Wonder Woman’s costume and with a little tape and a wig, looks like a Harley version of the Themysciran goddess.
The task force arrives and deploys the knock out gas, but Harley is ready with a gas mask. She use Wonder Woman’s gauntlets to hold off the special forces operative, but they are a little more heavily armed than Harley expected.
Harley takes out a couple of the operative and picks up a rocket launcher. She makes a dent on the special forces team that they won’t forget, but more are on the way.
Harley is overwhelmed and just when everything is looking bleak, Wonder Woman steps in. She isn’t wearing her usual costume (Harley is strapped into that outfit). Wonder Woman has picked up Harley’s costume. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but it’ll do.
Wonder Woman and Harley go to work. There is still a team of special forces operatives to take out and the Barmey Bugger to find.
They also discover that the London Legion of Super Heroes have been taken hostage.
Harley and Wonder Woman are going to have to work together to save the day.
Harley has good intentions and is aware that no one would believe she actually wanted to help. Unfortunately, her approach is a little flawed and Harley gets a little out of depth. We didn’t actually think she’d be able to protect Wonder Woman or that Wonder Woman wouldn’t step in to help protect Harley.
At the end of the day, it’s a win for Harley and Wonder Woman. Probably a bigger win for Harley who gets to team-up with her hero and get a trip to London.
